In the performance I invite the audience to participate in the collective gesture of writing the body. My naked body serves as a site for inscription of spectators’ individual imprints. The viewers are asked to leave the ink fingerprints on my skin thus transforming my body in a collective document. The sensuality and participatory quality of the performance contributes to the deconstruction of the individual physical and psychological boundaries and provides a new dimension of subjectivity as open to public intervention. Referencing ancient Greek art of sculpture Indelible is also a commentary on a consumerist dimension of contemporary art that promotes the image of the artist as a seller and an art object as a consumerist product .
